REQUIREMENTS
Entry Forms and Written Business Plan
Each school must submit a Binding Intent to Compete Form (attached) by Monday September 15, 2008 in order to reserve slots for their Teams in the CRVC.

Each Team must submit a Team Competition Entry Form (attached) by Monday, January 27, 2009, detailing the names of team members and a Project description. This Form certifies that all work on the Business Plan by all Team Members is original.

Teams must submit eleven (11) copies of Written Business Plans in English by 5:00pm Friday, February 13, 2009. Plans should be:

Plans should be submitted to Nancy Lowery, Bi-national Sustainability Laboratory, 2660 Airport Rd., Ste 1100, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.

Venture Forum & Elevator Pitch
Thursday evening March 5, 2009 all Teams will participate in a Venture Forum and Opening Reception. This will allow each Team to display poster, prototypes and other material relevant to their technology and business plan to an audience of entrepreneurs, investors, academics and their peers. During the Forum one (1) team member will present a 60 Second Elevator Pitch to this same audience.

PowerPoint/Oral Presentations
In the Opening Round on Friday March 6, 2009 each team will be given 15 minutes to present its business plan followed by a 20-minute question and answer session between the presenting team and the judges. All Teams will also participate in Feed Back Rounds. Teams that are selected to go onto the Finals round will also present on Saturday March 7, 2009. In the Final Round each team will be given 20 minutes to present its business plan followed by up to 25 minutes of question and answer. THESE TIME LIMITS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Each member of the team must participate in the formal presentation of the plan.

Additionally
The winners receive Invitation to participate and sponsored trip to the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business Moot Corp® Competition and one (1) year of incubation at the Bi-national Sustainability Laboratory, as well as a variety of other in-kind services. Prize monies will be awarded by check and sent to the Team’s school.
